- Eligibility: The contest is open to all students in grades 3 through 5 within the OCWA service area (Onondaga, Oswego, Madison and Oneida counties).
- A student may only submit one poster.

- All mailed entries must be mailed in time to be received by close-of-business Monday, April 20, 2015. Poster submissions may be hand delivered to the above address by close-of-business on April 20, 2015. Unfortunately, entries received after that date cannot be considered; the OCWA Board and Staff will be judging entries April 22nd.
- Student’s posters must be created for the sole purpose of this contest and without collaboration with other students.
- Posters will be judged in an objective manner by the OCWA Board and Staff. Winners will be selected on artistic merit, originality, spelling, and portrayal of this year’s theme – “What do you know about H2O?”
- Contest winners will be announced during National Drinking Water Week (May 3 – 9, 2015) and will be presented their award at a mutually convenient time. A cash prize of $75 will be awarded to the first place winner in each grade, $50 for second place and $25 for third place.
- Submitted posters shall become the property of OCWA. Winning posters will be reproduced into a poster for distribution to our many sponsors. Posters may also be used in or on non-profit publications, web pages, social media, presentations and special events throughout the year.
By submitting an entry, participants agree to have their picture taken and used throughout the year in or on non-profit publications, web pages, social media, presentations and special events. - Poster Specific Rules: All posters must be no larger than 8½” x 11”. There are no limitations on color or technique. SPELLING COUNTS. Please include the participating student’s name, grade, teacher, school and school’s phone number on the back of the poster.
