Project Overview
This water infrastructure improvement project will benefit OCWA’s existing water consumers as well as projected growth in Central New York. The project includes the survey, design, and construction of a new parallel transmission main, and associated infrastructure components such as valves and air releases. The main will be installed within existing easements and run parallel to the existing line. This project is part of OCWA’s ongoing effort to strengthen and expand the water system. The work will improve system capacity, redundancy, and resiliency, helping ensure reliable service for customers and the region for years to come.
