Repair Update 1.16.26

There are no snow days on the repair site! More dewatering, excavation, removal of old pipe and installation of new pipe continues today.

Please note: mandatory water conservation will remain in effect for another few days once the repair has concluded. We need to refill and pressurize the system as well as perform water quality testing.

Please continue to conserve until mandatory water conservation is lifted. Conservation is key to ensure that the water keeps flowing to everyone in the affected area. Updates regarding conservation will be provided to local media and will be posted on social media and on OCWA’s website.

MANDATORY WATER CONSERVATION remains in effect for all customers in the towns of DeWitt (including customers served by the DeWitt Water system), Manlius, Pompey, Lenox, Lincoln, and Sullivan. (Including the villages of Canastota, Chittenango, East Syracuse, Fayetteville, Manlius, and Minoa.)
