MANDATORY WATER CONSERVATION remains in effect for all customers in the towns of Manlius, Pompey, DeWitt (including customers served by the DeWitt Water system), Sullivan, Lenox, and Lincoln. (Including the villages of Minoa, Fayetteville, Manlius, East Syracuse, Chittenango, and Canastota.)
Conservation measures can include:
▪Adjusting all water-using appliances to minimum water use .
▪Running the dishwasher and washing machine at full load.
▪Turning off water while soaping or brushing teeth.
▪Reducing the number of toilet flushes per day.
▪Keeping a bottle of chilled drinking water in the refrigerator instead of running the water till it gets cold.
