Do you live in the Town of Geddes? OCWA – Central New York’s Water Authority is flushing portions of the water distribution system in the Town of Geddes this year. OCWA is mailing notices directly to all residents who may be affected.
Routine flushing of the water mains ensures high water quality, water pressure and hydrant flows for our customers. Flushing will take place during regular business hours.
Customers may temporarily experience low-pressure when we are flushing in your neighborhood. Should you experience discolored or cloudy water, run the COLD WATER tap for 10 to 15 minutes until the water clears.
