Farrell Pump Station Tour
Onondaga County Legislators Cody Kelly and Kevin Meaker, who represent parts of the Town of Clay, visited OCWA — Central New York’s Water Authority’s Farrell Pump Station in Clay on January 24th. The legislators toured the pump station and discussed ongoing operations and projects taking place at the site. One issue was how the water needed for Micron would come from the Lake Ontario water treatment plant in Oswego to the two tanks at the pump station, which is located off Route 31 in Clay.
As a public water utility, OCWA appreciates the continued interest and support, and we enjoy opening our doors to show legislators first hand how we treat, test, and deliver fresh water to our customers each day.
