Town of Spafford Scheduled Water Shutoff
This notice is to advise you that the planned shutoff by Onondaga County Water Authority (OCWA) on Thursday, July 13, 2023, between 10:00 am and 2:00 pm, will be delayed until Friday, July 14, 2023, between 10:00 am and 2:00 pm
All the utilities were not cleared for us to begin excavation and the project will be delayed by a day.
OCWA will be relocating a portion of its main to facilitate a NYSDOT culvert replacement along NYS 174. To accomplish this task OCWA must, regrettably, interrupt your water service during the timeframe stated above. After construction activities have been completed, should you have discolored or cloudy water, we recommend running the COLD water tap from a faucet located as close to the meter as possible (i.e., in the basement). Your water should clear in 10 to 15 minutes. If discolored water persists, please contact OCWA’s Operations Department at 315-455-7061 ext. 3106 or the Engineering Department ext. 3104.
