OCWA–Central New York’s Water Authority–will begin the first phase of a water main replacement project along Brickyard Falls in the Town of Manlius and Ravenswood Lane in the Village of Manlius starting 9-2-21. Activities associated with water main replacement projects are fluid, and ever changing as the work progresses. Our foremost concern is the safety of the residents and our working crews. As we advance in enhancing the water quality to the area, we ask that residents be vigilant in the continuously changing conditions. To protect our crews and the safety of the public we may need to restrict travel in the area. There might be closed shoulders, rerouted travel lanes, or one-way flagging operations. These activities may cause traffic disruptions and delays. We ask that, if possible, to find an alternate route while the work progresses.
OCWA will begin work on Brickyard Falls Road between Clearwater Circle and Quarry Road. After the new main is installed along Brickyard Falls Road and awaits testing and health approval, we will begin work at Ravenswood Lane. Then crews will alternate back to Brickyard Falls Road for service installs as Ravenswood Lane awaits testing and health approval. Construction crews will alternate between the two sites until completion of both projects.
Both D.E. Tarolli and OCWA would like to thank the residents for their patience during the construction phase. Please direct any questions to email@example.com.
