OCWA–Central New York’s Water Authority–will begin the first phase of a water main replacement project along Graham Road in the Town of Onondaga on March 17, 2021. Construction activities associated with all water main replacement projects are fluid, and ever changing as the work progresses. Our foremost concern is the safety of residents and our working crews. As we advance in enhancing the water quality to the area, we ask that residents be vigilant to continuously changing conditions. To protect our crews and the safety of the public we may need to restrict travel in the area. In addition, you can expect closed shoulders, rerouted travel lanes, and one-way flagging operations. These activities may cause traffic disruptions and delays. If possible, we encourage motorists to find alternate routes while the work progresses.
Both our contractor D.E. Tarolli and OCWA appreciate the patience of affected residents during the construction phase. We will provide additional updates as the project progresses. Please direct any questions to sjdrake@ocwa.org.
