OCWA has begun the first phase of the water main cleaning and lining process in Camillus. Currently, our contractor Mainlining America, is installing an above ground temporary water system. Residents along Knowell Road between Richlee Drive and West Genesee Street will be the first to see blue plastic pipe laid in yards and across driveways.

Once Knowell Road is complete we will move to Richlee Drive and then to Lynnbrook Circle. Access to driveways will be maintained throughout the project.

Our foremost concern is the safety of the residents and our working crews. As we work to enhance the water quality in the area, we ask that residents be vigilant in the continuously changing conditions. To protect our crews and the safety of the public, we may need to restrict travel in the area. There might be closed shoulders, re-routed travel lanes, or one-way flagging operations. In some cases, we may detour traffic. These activities may cause traffic disruptions and delays. We ask that if possible, to find an alternate route while the work progresses.

Both OCWA and Mainlining America would like to thank the residents for their patience during the construction phase.
