OCWA’s replacement of the water main along Route 11 has advanced to the next step. At this point we will begin the bores under Route 11. During this construction process, a bore pit is excavated to allow a boring machine to push casing under the road. After the casing is installed, we will install our new water main through the casing.
The first scheduled bore will start 4/2/2020 at Kathan Road. For the safety of our crews and the residents we will be closing Kathan Road between E. Washington St. and Route 11 from 4/2/2020 until the bore is complete on 4/3/2020. The road will be open to local traffic only. Local traffic is defined as residents that reside on that portion of the street or side street, requiring access to and from their residence.
We ask that you find an alternate route around this portion of Kathan Road while we complete our work. Thank you for your patience.
