Major construction activities for the Church & Chestnut Street project are now complete. OCWA contractor D.E. Tarolli, Inc. is currently in the process of paving and finishing lawn restoration. There are a few remaining items that will be addressed in the next couple of weeks, including final abandonment of the old main at the N. George Street connection and a service transfer to 116 Chestnut St. Our contractor will then remove all the old hydrants and abandon the old valve boxes. None of these activities will require traffic detours and any traffic disruptions should be minor.
